Not wanting to start a political or international debate, but thought this should be worth a read!

It seems a bit strange that the military of any civilized country wouldn't buy home grown products, especially when they say they “needed 1,000 vehicles urgently” :| the current vehicles are 30 years old so they had 30 years notice to develop something else. That's assuming the manufactures were interested in competing in that market, Land Rover used to supply the British military but are no longer interested in building that type of vehicle, maybe it's the same for Renault and Citroen :|

I'VE BEEN GIVING IT A LOT OF THOUGHT AND I DON'T THINK THAT BEING A RESPONSIBLE ADULT IS GONNA WORK FOR ME :|

I can only assume that the European model of the Dacia Duster is standard?
The bit that doesn't add up is "five heavily armed soldiers and a tonne of equipment" , in a Duster?
