Salisbury Plains Nov 25th 2017

Postby PortsmouthBiker » Sat Oct 28, 2017 8:44 pm

HEAR YE HEAR YE!!!

After a years' haitus the PortsmouthBiker Salisbury Plains Tours are hereby recommencing!

You want a drive around the 'Plains? No problem, I'm going and so can you.

Usual rules/conditions apply... what, I got to mention them here? okay... only if weather/MOD permits and no clashing with club outings. No giving cause to point fingers so take your trash back home, stick to the lanes etc.

Interested? Of course you are. AT tyres recommended, ditto CB (but not vital, but you'll miss on Tyggywyggys' commentary on birds of prey!)

MAXIMUM four vehicles and I'm in the first :P so only three names. I'll keep two in reserve in case anyone can't make it. So put your name down, indicate if you got a CB and AT tyres, and message me your mobile number. It'll be a great drive out!

:gr8:

Those following the Green Meanie:

1.
2.
3.

Those in reserve:

1.
2.

Much better now I got a decent job that actually pays a living wage now! I can afford the diesel to run the truck.

And I met Tyggywyggy ;)

So now I got company in my truck! :yipi:

Holy schmoly, no one put their name down???

wasn't more'n a year ago I'd be inundated with volunteers to splatter some Salisbury mud about!

So c'mon! Quit lallygagging and form an orderly queue to show you interest in a nice leisurely drive about! What's the worst that can happen?

Hi Jason,
Are you still intending to go out on Saturday? if so, I shall be out and about with my "Treadlightly" hat on. If you would like to meet up that would great, however the lanes that I shall be looking at are not on the Plain being to the south of Salisbury but still with some fantastic views. Also some are likely to be scratchy and very overgrown which is partly why I'm going to look. If this is of interest please let me know and we can arrange to meet.
