Stripped rear brakes ect on the RR looking for an 'orrible squeeky noise, found nothing amongst the mud, same on front. Have found some play in front prop UJ, guessing this might be the source of the noise. Next stop ebay for another prop, easier to swap the whole prop than mess about with UJs, not that i'm lazy of course

Over the last couple of days, i've done the preventative stuff -

Reset the tappets
Changed the top cam chain guide
Replaced the fuel filler lines

Now on to the rest.

Glad you are still on the road Simon - i assume (hope) the guy knows that taper bearings do actually have play when cold and hasn't just tightened them up. Might be worth feeling if the hub gets hot after a run.

Yesterday, with the help of a mate, I say he helped me, but he really did the work and I 'assisted'!....

Replaced leaky power-steering box with non-leaky one
    Oil and filter change
    Fit rear fog-light

Wired up a temporary start button as it has some sort of electrical fault and nothing happens when the key is turned
Just need to find a way to feed the wires through the bulkhead as with all the insulation stuck around I can't find any where to feed wires through

i'm so skint i cant even pay attention

New exhaust down pipe fitted (without a cat), that combined with the EGR valve blanked off has made quite a difference, engine revs pick up much quicker now and seems to have more power lower down in the Rev band
