Dear all,
I have a 1988 110 land rover county station wagon which I have owned 3 years. It has 300tdi Disco engine and box and has done about 175K. It runs well and aside from being a bit scruffy works and drives well. Aside from a snorkel it has not had any off road mods. It has a recent good second hand bulkhead fitted but has just failed the MOT needing significant welding/new chassis. This is not a "barn find" which has not moved in ten years, it was being used until last week when it failed the test!
I do not want to either sort it out myself or pay for someone else to so it is time to say goodbye. Looking on Autotrader, Gumtree etc I cannot find any comparables so am struggling to put a sensible value on this
This is not a roundabout way of putting it for sale here! - I just wanted to get an idea from people who know these cars what I could sensibly get for this.
Any ideas on price very welcome - I want realism and I will not be insulted!
Jon
Advice on value please

Hi
Many thanks - I suspect you are right as regards being worth more in spares but then you have to be prepared to have a half compete car sitting on the drive for months while you sell bits piece meal and that would not be popular at home!
As you say about a grand is what we are looking at.
Thanks again

Do you still have the car by any chance, Jon?
