Dorset Laning pop up event - 7th August 2016

Postby RCMike » Thu Jul 28, 2016 4:09 pm

This is a pop up event at short'ish notice (so limited numbers and only a single group).

Meeting point is here at 10:00am. Its a layby just off the Dorchester road, we will be going East from here.

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=34 ... 92977&lm=0

Nearest postcode is DT6 4AB (this will get you to the Dorchester road - keep going East <away from Bridport> and you will see a layby on the left a few hundred meters down the road).

We have space for three vehicles to join us on Sunday 7th August for a bit of Dorset laning.

Start will be at 10:00 near Bridport and we will aim to finish at 16:30 near Bere Regis. As its probably a fair way for a few to travel, we will ensure a timely finish so people can travel back. This will be a new route but will include some old favourite lanes from the previous events in Dorset.

There will be a couple of fords (possibly deep depending on how much rain we get in the next week) so AT's at a minimum and a snorkle are required. Please bring food and drinks for the day.

If you would like to join please add your name to the thread and I will confirm in a couple of days, the plan will be to run this again in a few weeks time as a full FWDC event with multiple groups if there is enough interest.

Due to the limited numbers for this first event, please only put your name down if you are positive you can make it on the 7th Aug.
