The biggest problem with Discos is that some of them (most of them  ) had minor (and not so minor ) rust issues. The places you may possibly (almost certainly  ) find rust are the sills, inner wings, rear arches, rear floor and rear body mounts. The chassis doesn't really suffer with rust but everything around it does. The engines go on for ever but like to be seviced regularly and the rest of the oily bits are standard Landy bits found across the range. If you can find a rust free one (bet you can't  ) you'll have a great truck :gr8:

I haven't seen it but I would say that was a bit over priced. It's an off roader painted in what looks like matt black so it's 'seen some action'. You could have your choice of standard Discos that age for £1000 - £1500 then buy the off road bits for about £1000 and fit them in a weekend. If you do go for it check where the LPG tanks are. If they are chassis mounted it will restrict your off road clearance. Also make sure there is a safety certificate for the LPG system as most insurance companies won't insure you without it.

as Rick said buy a std one and do the work yourself....that way you can make it your own and have it the way you want it.
