me again
what's your views on pit jacks, i've got a massive pit and i looking out for a recon pit jack, air operated but i've not used one before so i need some idea on the spec i should be looking for?????. :|

I used to have a massive pit but I had to move out of it when I met my future wife :lol:

Serously though, I can't help with any advice but you can rest assured I'm very jealous.

hi mate, air operated jacking beams are so easy to use.....,but also very costly (in excess of £500 new) i use them on a daily basis at work.but there web sites
selling them second hand. i hope this site help's.www.used-garage equipment.com

whats the width of your pit, we used to have pits at work and still have a old jack round the back of the work shop......... i think!

Its a 12 tonne one if i remeber right and is fairly big, was used for coaches and trucks........

the width is 900 internal, runners are 970mm, must jack are ajustable, so should fit, do you want to email me your mobile so i can ring you, i don't live to far from woking.

Hi all
i've got one..... Majorlift 2.6 tonne jacking beam bargain at 300 quid, which is good coz i'm dropping my engine out and rebuilding it.
