If the diff lock is engaged before the Ignition, then the SLABS module will see it during the self test, throw a hissy fit and deactivate the TC & ABS systems.

The diff lock has to be engaged when the ignition is already on, then they will work together. Not a massive issue but can be pain in the Ass if you stall off road especially on a hill climb

There are two ways to get round the issue:

Firstly, you can cut the diff lock wire that goes into the SLABS module so it doesn't see the CDL. The dash light is unaffected as it's wired separately. My old TD5 ran like this with no issues.

Secondly, you can find a later SLABS module with a part number SRD000150. These were updated by Wabco to understand what the CDL does and will switch to a more effective TC program when it is in engaged. There is also a SRD500070 module that was further revised but they were only fitted to the last few D2's so are rare unless bought new.
