Front shocks and turrets

Post by mudmagnet » Thu Apr 28, 2016 4:08 pm

Replaced the knackered terrafirma shocks, the bottom bush had completely parted company from the shock and was allowing the shock to bang around causing an awful noise in the car and also the shock had no resistance for the first 3rd of its travel and then went really stiff which is what probably caused the bush to fail,
Also changed the turrets and turret rings as they were badly corroded

Super gaz dampers
Cheap but get a reasonable write up on the landy forums
Let's hope it's one of the things britpart got right,
The terrafirma I took off were fitted last August just before I bought the car and the ride has been really harsh since I've had it, now it rides speed bumps without jolting my spine ( for now at least ) :D

If you have the receipts I would have a word with terrafirrma.
Under 12mths old wether it's driven off road or not, they always say 12mth warranty :gr8:
