and a couple of days ago I managed to get it IN the dash and added a tiny speaker.Much neater. And the antenna is now on back door with spare - works perfectly despite a "spade" connetor join in the cable!!!!!!!

Hay mudman, if you need a hand setting it up drop round, I used to repair them back in the AM days.

Does the aerial lead for the cb go out throught the window to the roof mount if not permanantly wired in, meaning the window has to be open when your using the cb. Thanks Rae.

should be able to close the door on the coax meaning you can close your windows if needed

should need to have a window open, the rubber door seals give enough
